Any vehicle that has been self-converted does not contain all of the required Life Safety Equipment that you will find in a RVIA Certified motor home, 5th wheel, or travel trailer. If you would like to check if your rig is certified, the RVIA badge will be proudly displayed close to the entry door.

Your car does not contain all of the required Life Safety Equipment that you find in a RVIA Certified motor home, 5th wheel, or travel trailer, and that is why car camping is prohibited.

Your 4-legged friends are welcome in all of our RV and tent sites. But pets are not allowed in the cabins. Please also be considerate to the other guests within the park, and pick up after them. Your pet must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES!

We have two (2) bath houses.  Please see our Park Map for their locations.  We also have showers and restrooms adjacent to the swimming pool that are available to swimmers.  Use of any of these facilities to wash off sand from the San Lorenzo River is forbidden, as it will promptly clog the drain.

We have a small laundry facility with 3 stacked washer and dryers, as well as a utility sink to pre-rinse stains. There are also coin-op laundry facilities in nearby Felton and Scotts Valley that are easily accessible. Links to those locations are provided below ...

Our park is the only one in the area to share a border with Henry Cowell Redwood State Park.  This provides all of our guests with instant access to Original and Second Growth forest.  The main park office is a roughly ¾ mile walk from our pool trailhead.  The popular Garden of Eden swimming hole is a roughly 15 minute walk down the tracks.

Roaring Camp and Big Trees Railroad is less than a 15 minute walk from our pool trailhead.  For those not wanting to walk, Roaring Camp is a short 2-mile drive from the campground.

The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is 6.5 miles from the campground.

Absolutely!  We have a playground that includes a climbing wall, basketball court, clubhouse, and a heated swimming pool (open seasonally). And, of course, we have 3 trailheads that directly enter Henry Cowell Redwood State Park (see our park map).  The popular swimming hole Garden of Eden on the San Lorenzo River is a roughly 15 minute walk down the tracks.

During the summer, the office/store is open from 9:00am through 7:00pm every day.
During the winter, the office/store is open from 9:30am to 5:30pm daily
Someone is always in the park who can assist in the event of an emergency or urgent matter.
